Congratulations to Rory Vallejo for Being Awarded the University Medal

Congratulations to Rory Vallejo, who has recently completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons 1M) in Materials Engineering, has been awarded the University Medal.

 

The University Medal is one of the University’s most prestigious awards and is reserved for graduates who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence across their entire degree program. In addition to his remarkable academic performance, Rory made significant contributions to the School and the broader community throughout his studies.  Rory conducted his Honours thesis work as part of the coop program with RioTinto Aluminium.  His work focussed on refractory selection for anode baking furnaces and was supervised by Meaghan Noonan at RioTinto and Pramod Koshy at UNSW.
