Congratulations to Bernadette Purdadera and Jiachen Jiang for receiving the UNSW University Medal

It is with great pleasure to announce that two of our students, Bernadette Purdadera and Jiachen Jiang were awarded with the prestigious University Medal. This is a magnificent achievement as the University medal is awarded only for the highest level of academic excellence throughout an entire degree program. This award is a culmination of their academic hard work and active role in extracurricular activities as part of the Materials student society (MATSOC) and other societies. Further, both students have received numerous industry-sponsored awards for academic performance in courses during their degree. Moreover, they both completed their Honours theses on industry-based projects with Cochlear Ltd. under the supervision of Dr Pramod Koshy.
