- New development in zirconia (ZrO2) focussing on the full stabilisation of the room-temperature monoclinic polymorph of this oxide
- This would assist in overcoming the issues arising from the phase-transformation related degradation of the ceramic upon cyclic heating, cyclic stress, or exposure to moisture
