The 2025 UNSW Science Postgraduate Research Showcase was held last Tuesday, 17 June at the Roundhouse. This event recognises the breadth of outstanding research undertaken by UNSW Science Higher Degree Research (HDR) students. Our HDR students performed admirably, and we also had a few winners!
We would like to congratulate Marcus Miljak (PhD candidate, supervised by Pramod Koshy & co-supervised by Chris Sorrell) on winning the Best Overall 1-Minute Thesis Presentation from the Faculty of Science! Marcus received a $1,500 prize for his exceptional presentation. As the overall Faculty winner, Marcus will go on to represent the Faculty as a finalist in the UNSW 3-Minute Thesis Competition hosted by UNSW Graduate Research School!
These wonderful achievements are a testament to the exceptional research carried out by all of our students.
