Trailblazers Gather in Newcastle for the 2026 TRaCE HDR Celebration

2026 Trailblazer for Recycling and Clean Energy (TRaCE) HDR Celebration, hosted this year at the University of Newcastle’s Newcastle Institute for Energy and Resources (NIER) brought together HDR students, partners, and university representatives from across the TRaCE network to recognise achievements and strengthen connections across our growing cohort.

Across the day, students from both the University of Newcastle and UNSW shared updates on their research projects, explored the Modern Manufacturing Workshop and Advanced Prototyping Facilities, and connected with peers over lunch and informal networking.
